Language:

Distance learning through interactive learning materials.

Teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages during the quarantine period associated with the COVID 19 virus, on behalf of the Head of the Department M. Suknov  selected and tested new technologies for studying foreign languages in the format of distance learning.
Students were taught through interactive teaching materials that contain instructions, educational content (video, interactive video, text, audio), self-testing, links, etc. in accordance with  lessons curriculum. The curriculum requirements of the course were respected. Teachers had the opportunity to test students’ knowledge, created chat rooms for communication, so that, faced with difficulties, they could continue to complete tasks.
During quarantine, we selected the most suitable digital services that helped in the development of training materials.

Quizlet https://quizlet.com/ A service that allows you to create flash cards and games that you can use to learn foreign words and create tests to check the lexical minimum.
Google form. Using the forms, training tests have been created that summarize the topics covered, as well as exam tests. EnglishInteractiveworksheets. The platform on which interactive exercises were created to perform tasks on a topic covered, including lexical and grammar exercises. Assignments are transferred to students by reference.
Online meetings with students, services with which online lessons were organized in real time, where the teacher had the opportunity to explain the topic and interview students.

Zoom, GoogleHangouts, Viber, Skype. We tested the lessons in video recording were created combined with video comments as a feedback to completed tasks.

Distance learning was mainly conducted on the Moodle platform, but, as an alternative, the Google Classroom platform was also used. It is convenient to build the educational process through these platforms: post training materials, conduct discussions, receive and provide feedback.
Summing up the above, I want to note that the teachers of our Department V.Arkhipova , T.Vergun, N.Krynska, E.Rozdolyanska, S.Syzonova, T.Smytska , V.Ter-Hovhannesyan, V.Shalaeva have transformed almost all the material of the semester into an interactive form, which is  ready to be used in  teaching  foreign languages, and also did not stand aside from the use of modern technologies in the studying of such a specific subject as a foreign language.
